OUR 2006 GOALS:
1. Expand our existing FCCBCHW membership by 50%.
2. To expand membership participation on all trail service work by 50%.
3. Leadership participation in the BCHW Leadership Training Program in CleElum on January 21st, 2006
4. To create a new FCCBCHW ‘Flyer’.
5. To establish new ‘Coordinator’ roles for the Education/LNT Leader, Membership Leader, Publicity Leader, Legislative Leader, and Volunteer Leader.
6. Annual Spring Trail Ride on April 29th and April 30th.
7. Hold our annual poker ride and silent auction on June 24th, 2006 at the Double K Ranch in conjunction with the Ferry County Tourism Board.
8. Hold our first FCCBCHW sponsored Steak Ride and Silent Auction on July 29th, 2006.
9. Manage a FCCBCHW booth this year at the Ferry County Annual Fair to promote the growth of our organization and membership.
10. Conduct our annual Harvest Dance and Christmas parties in Nov/Dec 2006.
11. Conduct our primary purpose volunteer trail work services under the leadership of our FCCBCHW Trail Master. These activities for 2006 are:
- Edds Mtn. #3. Log out main trail. Cut out 2 miles of trail along old 2050300 Rd., between new trailhead and 100 Rd. to make a loop to Snow Peak Trail #10.
- Snow Peak #10. Log out trail and do same time as Edds. Mtn. trail.
- Marcus Trail #8. Log out trail, clear and burn around the water trough.
- Timberidge Trail #17. Log out trail with 1 pack stock day, carrying equipment.
- Old Stage #1. Log out trail with 1 pack stock day, carrying equipment.
- Midnight Trail #41. Log out trail with 1 pack stock day, carrying equipment.
- Lambert Trail #47. Log out trail with 1 pack stock day, carrying equipment.
- Kettle Crest #13 Packing for N.W.T.A. - 24 pack stock days and 12 saddle stock days. Packing in equipment, food and camping gear.
- Kettle Crest #13 Locating camp sites prior to work for the N.W.T.A. - 6 saddle stock days.
12. To coordinate feature articles each month in our local Ferry County Newspapers concerning the programs and activities of our FCCBCHW organization and special profiles of our FCCBCHW members in relation to FCCBCHW events.
13. Conduct our annual Harvest Dance and Christmas parties in November/December 2006.
